Shakur Stevenson's Recent Performance Criticized by Ryan Garcia

It has been a challenging couple of days for Shakur Stevenson. Despite winning the WBC lightweight title against Edwin De Los Santos last Thursday, many fight fans were left disappointed by the lackluster nature of the fight and Stevenson's lackluster performance. One of those unimpressed with Stevenson's showing is the popular Ryan Garcia.

In an interview with Fight Hub, Garcia expressed his dissatisfaction with Stevenson's performance against De Los Santos and his overall opinion of the fighter. "He talks like he's really arrogant," Garcia stated. "He has always carried himself that way, even since his amateur days. It really annoys me." Garcia went on to describe an incident in Las Vegas where Stevenson's behavior came across as very rude. Naturally, Garcia also commented on Stevenson's most recent fight, saying, "Honestly, he didn't fight well at all. He looked scared."

Shakur Stevenson, a professional boxer, recently took to social media to respond to criticism from Ryan Garcia. In his tweet, Stevenson defended himself, stating that he wasn't being arrogant and expressing his lack of respect for Garcia. He also highlighted his own achievements in the sport, mentioning that he has won three world titles in different weight classes.

Garcia, not one to back down from a social media fight, responded on Twitter by comparing their financial success and pointing out Stevenson's poor performance in a recent fight. He also mentioned their superfight against Gervonta Davis, which apparently resulted in record-breaking earnings for Garcia.

Stevenson, however, fired back by emphasizing the importance of a strong boxing career, stating that Garcia has never won a real world title throughout his entire career. He advised Garcia to be smart with his money because it doesn't last forever.

Despite their online feud, Garcia is set to return to the ring on December 12 for a bout against Oscar Duarte Jurado in Houston. The fight will be broadcast live on the DAZN streaming service.
