More than a dozen individuals sustained injuries in a collision involving a tram at Universal Studios Hollywood on Saturday.
Emergency responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department hurried to the location at 3900 Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood around 9 p.m. on Saturday.
The incident is believed to have been triggered by a possible mechanical malfunction.
From above, SkyCal captured footage of individuals receiving medical attention from paramedics at the scene. Another group was escorted away from the tram and boarded a bus.
"A tram incident occurred at the theme park tonight resulting in several minor injuries, as confirmed by the LA County Fire Dept.," stated Universal Studios Hollywood officials. "We are assisting our guests and investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident."
