However, he seemed more open to a rematch with WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol, whom he faced a few years back. "That fight I would love to have," Canelo expressed.
Currently, Canelo is gearing up for a fight with the undefeated Jaime Munguia on Cinco De Mayo Weekend in Las Vegas. "I think this fight with Jaime is going to be very important to Mexicans," Canelo shared, emphasizing the significance of the bout for his country.
