Recent revelations on the PBS show "Finding Your Roots" have connected actor Michael Douglas to another Hollywood star. During the episode, the series' host, Henry Louis Gates, informed Douglas that he shares DNA with his "Avengers: Endgame" co-star Scarlett Johansson. Douglas was taken aback by the news, exclaiming, "Are you kidding?"

"That's amazing," Douglas continued. "Alright. This is cool. This is so cool."

Gates revealed that both actors have identical DNA stretches on four different chromosomes, all tracing back to Scarlett's maternal lines, which have roots in Jewish communities in Eastern Europe.

"I look forward to seeing Scarlett next time," Douglas expressed. The episode aired on Tuesday on PBS.

This isn't the first time the show has uncovered surprising genealogical connections among celebrities. In the past, Kerry Washington learned she was conceived through a sperm donor, Edward Norton discovered his connection to Pocahontas, and even news anchors Norah O'Donnell and Gayle King explored their family histories on the program.
