Explosion at Auto Repair Shop in Hillsboro, Ohio
Authorities in Hillsboro, Ohio, have reported that an explosion at Jimbo's Auto Repair has resulted in three fatalities and one person being hospitalized. The incident occurred at approximately 4 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Witnesses at the scene described the terrifying moments leading up to the explosion. One witness stated, "We hear another boom and then we see fire so we all step back… in seconds there was another boom and power lines and glass breaking."
A firefighter from a nearby firehouse, located "four, five blocks away" from the auto repair shop, reported feeling the impact of the explosion.
