During the early hours of Sunday, a suspect in Tennessee died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot while attempting to evade law enforcement. The suspect, identified as Mavis Christian Jr., 52, was involved in a series of domestic violence incidents on Saturday night that resulted in the death of four individuals and the serious injury of a fifth victim, according to police.
Following the shootings at three different locations in Memphis, officers discovered Christian in his car during a manhunt. The violent outbreak claimed the lives of three women and a teenage girl, while another teen girl was left in critical condition.
Further investigation revealed that there were two additional fatal shootings connected to the incident. At Field Lark Drive, a woman and a 13-year-old girl were killed, and a 15-year-old girl sustained critical injuries. Another woman was found fatally shot on Warrington Road, as reported by Memphis Police Officer Christopher Williams.

Law enforcement agencies, including local, state, and federal authorities, collaborated in the search for the suspect. Police have concluded that Christian was responsible for all three shootings.
