Coachella 2024 has officially wrapped after two back-to-back weekends of partying in the desert. No Doubt performed on both weekends, bringing out a surprise guest during their first show. Other celebrities also made headlines, including Kid Cudi and Doja Cat. Here are the top five moments from Coachella.

1. No Doubt brings out surprise guest

No Doubt played on both Saturdays of the music festival. The band, led by Gwen Stefani, hadn't performed together in nearly 10 years and sang their greatest hits like "Just A Girl," and "Don't Speak." During their first performance, on April 13, they brought out Olivia Rodrigo for their song "Bathwater."

Rodrigo, 21, posted about the momentous occasion on social media, saying it was "the coolest honor" to perform with the band. "I remember hearing bathwater for the first time when I had just started writing songs. it totally turned my world on its head and inspires me to this day," she wrote.

During the second weekend, which kicked off on April 19, the band didn't bring out any special guests – but Stefani had some waiting for her back stage. She was seen on the Coachella live stream embracing husband Blake Shelton and her 10-year-old son, Apollo, after the show.

2. Doja Cat's Historic Performance at Coachella

Doja Cat, 28, made history at Coachella by headlining both Sunday shows, marking the first time a Black female rapper has achieved this milestone in the festival's 25-year history. Back in 2018, Beyonce became the first Black female artist to headline Coachella.

Performing under her real name, Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, Doja Cat wowed the crowd with hits like "Paint The Town Red" and her latest single "MASC." She also surprised fans by bringing out South African a cappella group The Joy to perform her song "Shutcho."

During her set, she also featured guest appearances from A$AP Rocky and 21 Savage. Embracing her signature avant-garde style, she sported long flowing hair and incorporated hairy backup dancers into one of her performances.

3. Kid Cudi's Foot Injury at Coachella

Kid Cudi, 40, electrified the Coachella stage on April 21 with his energetic performance, but it came to an abrupt end when he broke his foot after jumping off the stage. Security had to carry him away, and his set was cut short, as reported by Entertainment Tonight.

"Hey guys, so I broke my foot today at the show. just leavin the hospital," Kid Cudi shared on social media. "Never broken a bone before so this is all a bit crazy. nI wanna thank u all for ur concerns and well wishes!! I love yall man. I heard yall still ragin when I was offstage. Made me smile big."

4. Lana Del Rey makes a grand entrance

Lana Del Rey stole the show on Friday as she made a dramatic entrance at the venue on a motorcycle. The moment was captured on camera and quickly spread across social media platforms. The singer performed fan-favorite hits like "Summertime Sadness" and "Young and Beautiful," mesmerizing the audience with her soulful voice.

During her set, Lana Del Rey surprised the crowd by bringing out special guests including Billie Eilish, Jon Batiste, and Jack Antonoff, adding an extra layer of excitement to the performance.

However, the excitement may have gone a little too far as the music festival exceeded the city's curfew by 13 minutes after Lana Del Rey's set. The City of Indio, where Coachella is held, is set to fine the festival $28,000 for the violation. CBS News has reached out to the city for further details on the matter.

5. Tyler the Creator's star-studded performances and Odd Future reunion

Tyler the Creator took the stage on Saturday and delivered a memorable performance with some surprise guests. The rapper brought out Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, and A$AP Rocky for electrifying collaborations during the first weekend of the festival. Additionally, Tyler the Creator reunited with Earl Sweatshirt, a former member of the music collective Odd Future, on the second weekend, much to the delight of fans.

Other artists also joined in on the fun by inviting special guests to share the stage. Renee Rapp, for instance, surprised the audience by bringing out Kesha to perform the hit song "Tik Tok" from 2010.

The festival also saw some familiar faces in the crowd, with celebrities like Taylor Swift and Rihanna spotted enjoying the performances and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.
