Emulating the success of its popular brand, Mattel has teamed up with Kraft Heinz Co. to introduce "Barbiecue" sauce.
This unique condiment, colored in Barbie pink, is being launched by Kraft in the United Kingdom. The initial release includes a limited edition sale of 5,000 bottles available online starting today. Following the online promotion, the sauce will be made available nationwide at Tesco supermarkets later this week and through a UK delivery service in mid-May, as announced by the food producer and Mattel.
The Barbiecue sauce, which derives its pink color from beetroot extract, will also be accessible in Spain starting April 25.
Heinz hinted at the creation of this condiment in an Instagram post last August, showcasing a bottle of Barbiecue sauce alongside Tomato "Kenchup" and inquiring whether they should bring this dream team to life.
Since the release of the "Barbie" film in July 2023, Barbie-themed products have been in high demand.
