In a shocking turn of events, a stolen 18-wheeler crashed into a Texas Department of Public Safety office in Brenham, causing multiple injuries in what officials are calling an "intentional" act of violence.
State Senator Lois Kolkhorst, representing the area, described the incident as a "deliberate, heinous act" in a statement on social media.
According to Kolkhorst, three individuals were airlifted with critical injuries, while three others were taken to local hospitals in stable condition. Fortunately, no DPS employees sustained serious injuries, although one staff member was temporarily trapped inside the building.
Texas DPS officials have confirmed that an arrest has been made, and the Texas Rangers will be leading the investigation into this disturbing incident.
