Cole Brings Plenty, known for his role in the TV series "1923," a spinoff of the popular show "Yellowstone," was discovered deceased after disappearing during a domestic violence inquiry in Kansas, officials revealed on Friday.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office shared on social media that a 27-year-old man's body was found in a wooded area on April 5. Detectives were sent to investigate an abandoned car on Homestead Lane around 11:45 a.m. local time, as per the sheriff's office.

Crime scene experts and the medical examiner were present, but no information about the cause of death was disclosed. Just two days earlier, Brings Plenty faced charges of aggravated burglary, domestic battery, and criminal restraint in a neighboring county, leading to an arrest warrant being issued.

Law enforcement in Lawrence reported that they were called to an apartment on Sunday where a woman was heard screaming for assistance. By the time officers arrived, Brings Plenty had already departed. Surveillance cameras captured him leaving the city immediately after the incident, heading southbound on 59 Highway, according to the Lawrence Police Department. He was driving a 2005 Ford Explorer with a Kansas license plate.

Unfortunately, Cole Brings Plenty, the actor known for his roles in "1923" and other Westerns, went missing last week. His agent, Peter Yanke, confirmed that he missed an audition for an upcoming film project scheduled over Zoom. Authorities even used drones in their search efforts to locate him.

Joe Brings Plenty, Cole's father, expressed gratitude for the support and prayers received for his son. "I learned this week how many people knew the goodness in Cole's heart and loved him," Joe Brings Plenty Sr. said.

Cole Brings Plenty had appeared in two episodes of "1923" alongside Harrison Ford and had roles in other Westerns like "Into the Wild Frontier" and "The Tall Tales of Jim Bridger."
