South Korean actor Lee Sun-kyun, known for his role in the Oscar-winning movie "Parasite," has been discovered unconscious, according to authorities. The incident took place at an undisclosed location in Seoul on Wednesday, with no further details provided by the police.
Reports from Yonhap indicate that a man, later identified as Lee, was found unconscious in a Seoul park. Tragically, Lee was later pronounced dead. The police found a charcoal briquette in the passenger seat of his car.
Lee gained recognition for his portrayal of the head of a wealthy family in "Parasite." In 2021, he received a Screen Actors Guild award for his outstanding performance as part of the film's cast.
Last year, Lee earned a nomination for Best Actor at the International Emmy Awards for his role in the sci-fi thriller "Dr. Brain."
