Hit-and-Run Collision Kills Two Young Brothers
Antioch, Calif. - Authorities in a San Francisco Bay area community are seeking a suspect in a hit-and-run collision that tragically took the lives of two young brothers on Friday.
According to reports, the accident involved two vehicles, one of which was carrying two boys aged 12 and 13.
Despite being transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals, the boys sadly succumbed to their injuries.
The driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene on foot, leaving behind a devastating scene.
"It appears that speed and reckless driving were significant factors in this incident," stated the police.
A witness recounted how he assisted the man, believed to be the father of the two boys, in removing one of them from his car.
The Antioch police have urged members of the public with any information to come forward and contact the department.
