Man Charged with Murder of Detroit Synagogue President
WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. - Wayne County Prosecutor announced that a man has been charged with the murder of Detroit synagogue president Samantha Woll.
Michael Manual Jackson-Bolanos, 28, of Detroit, has been charged with homicide felony murder, lying to a peace officer and entering Woll's home without permission.
The prosecutor stated that there is no evidence to suggest that Jackson-Bolanos knew Woll before the murder or that it was a hate crime.
The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office received a warrant request in the case of Woll, who was found stabbed to death in October.
Recently, a second person of interest was taken into custody. Another person was previously arrested but later released.
Woll, 40, the president of Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue, was found outside her home in the Lafayette Park neighborhood on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Tragic Incident at Wedding
A shocking incident occurred at a wedding last night, leaving the attendees in a state of utter disbelief. The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, attended the wedding and returned home after midnight. However, what awaited her at home was a horrifying tragedy.
Upon investigation, authorities discovered no signs of forced entry into the victim's residence, leading them to believe that the assailant was already inside. It is suspected that she was stabbed within the confines of her own home before managing to escape to her yard, where she was eventually found.
